We are now offering
private lessons!
Typically the lessons are
taught in 2+ hour sessions, on the
water, on one of our vessels. (Although we can
teach you on your vessel). They are booked in blocks of 3 or more. For example, you would book 3 dates,
each for a 2 hour lesson. This will
ensure comfortable learning and give you
ample opportunity between lessons to study and review.
Sailing is not something
that comes natural to everyone and there
is no " sailing license" you obtain before you get a sailboat.
This is why it is very important
for sailors to take this responsibility into their own hands. We
are happy to help you get on your way, build your confidence and enjoy
sailing.
If you are interested in " trailer sailing" vs. keeping a boat on
mooring or dock, we can tailor your lesson accordingly and show you how
to rig and launch a trailer sailer vessel -
typically 19' or less. We can do this on many lakes in the area.
Sailing can be exciting
and fun but it can also be dangerous if you don't
know what you are doing. You are relying on the wind for power and
you must learn to harness this power to make the sailboat do what you
want it to. A healthy respect for the wind, weather and knowledge
of your own abilities is key to enjoying
sailing.

Good evening,
I hope your summer is going well, Pat and I had a great time taking our sailing
lessons. We learned a great deal and really have the bug. We are trying
to plan our fall vacation and was wondering if
either of the boats are available for rent for a few days sometime
between 9/4 to 9/15. We would also like to schedule a sailing lesson
for one day. If anything is available could you provide dates and fees.
